Turbulent Year for Maroon and Gold
Editors: Peter S. Brower, Marc B. Kornblatt, and Wayne M. Wallack consider possible captions for Maroon and Gold.
Hard-working Business Managers, Charles H, Streib- and Roger B. Child, are ever at work. Here we see them totaling accounts for this year's Maroon and Gold.
Hard-working Maroon and Gold staff members had their problems again this year. The untimely death of Mr. Lewis B. Timberlake, Maroon and (fold advisor for eight years, resulted in Mr. Alexander McDougall assuming the responsi bilities. Meeting whenever time and schedules would permit, the yearbook deadlines were met on time.
Peter S. Brower was editor this year. He was aided by Marc B. Kornblatt, junior editor, as sisted by Wayne M. Wallack. As usual, editorial conferences were enlivened with discussions over what constituted “respectability" in pic tures and captions.
Business Manager Charles H. Streib and his apprentice, Roger B. Child, performed a thor ough job; while Advertising Managers Bruce A. Shear and Wayne M. Wallack collected enough ads to fill the ledgers.
Excellent artwork was contributed by H. Theodore Osborne, David W. Price, Jr., and Wayne G. Napolitano.
Fine pictures and candids were snapped by Jack L. Cassell, Gary J. Hill, and Val A. Kratz- man.
