For the first time, Field Day was held on a Tuesday, the twenty-second of May. Corneil Robison was one of the most capable field marshals that we have ever had. The competition was unusually exciting because of the close scores between Margaret Wemple and Gertrude Olsen. Until the last event, Margaret Wemple was three points ahead, but by the Juniors’ win ning the class relay, Gertrude Olsen caught up to the three point lead, and the scores were tied. The Academic championship cup was awarded to both girls, Gertrude receiving it for the second time in succession.
The Fdementary medal was won by Louise Anthony, who has carried off the honors of the lower school for three successive years.
