Final Design Development of Plan – (100% Phase)
❱ Prepare 100% ( nal) documents including nal plans, reports, bid tabulation forms, speci cations, calculations, and nal cost estimates. This phase will incorporate comments received from the City in the 90% design phase in- cluding input received from the regulatory agencies
❱ Perform a nal peer review and quality control review on plans/reports, cal- culations, and speci cations
❱ Meet with the City Sta to discuss the nal plans and permits and discuss how they will a ect the implementation of the project
❱ Finalize and coordinate easements and exhibits necessary for the project
❱ Assist the City in preparing nal bid documents and establish timeframes for
when the project will be initiated
❱ Present project before the City Commission
Quality Assurance/Quality Control
WGI production process requires a Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/ QC) program for each project. WGI incorporates and will use a quality control plan using front check, back check and quality control review for typical proj- ects. We propose to use this method for the Imagine Clearwater project.
Permitting Assistance
The WGI Team will provide all permit processing as requested. Nearly every project undertaken involves some form of federal, state, or local permitting; this includes Southwest Florida Water Management District, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, and the City of Clearwater Public Works Department. The WGI Team is experienced and prepared to:
❱ Proactively address permitting issues in the project design phase
❱ Maintain communication with permitting agencies, especially for sensitive
issues
❱ Prepare thorough permit applications
❱ Respond to information requests
❱ Provide design elements that meet or exceed regulatory requirements
❱ Ensure permit compliance
Most of the requirements for approvals and permits will be identi ed and ad- dressed during preliminary design. These requirements will be incorporated into the detailed design. Upon completion of the detailed design, nal approv- als for construction will be sought.
This includes:
❱ Submittal of detailed design drawings to key agencies for their review and approval
❱ Attendance at meetings, as required, to discuss the applications and re- spond to their questions
❱ Revising detailed design drawings to incorporate comments received from key agencies
❱ Initiating and maintaining contact with key agencies during the design phase to minimize required revisions
