WGI developed a series of wetland gardens for one of Palm
Beach County’s most visited botanical gardens, bringing to frui-
tion the Mounts Botanical Garden Master Plan. We coordinated with a
renowned artist to incorporate interactive installation pieces into the garden
and reinforce Mount’s mission statement of encouraging the art, science, and joy
of gardening to foster a respect and understanding for South Florida’s subtropical environment. To further reinforce this mission statement, our team developed a variety of educational signage to inform visitors on elements throughout the gardens. WGI also designed a series a walkways through the wetland and on the water to allow visitors to truly interact with the landscape. WGI provided numerous design services, including survey, master planning, site planning, landscape architecture, irrigation design, civil and structural engineering, and construction management services.
