            Memories of the 2017 Aruba Symphony Festival (Part 1)




































            Closing concert July 29, 2017 at Cas di Cultura. The Aruba Symphony Festival 2017 Orchestra consisted of students from 13 countries under the direction of Carlos
            Botero from Colombia.
            ORANJESTAD  -  Following
            the successes of 2015 and
            2016, the Aruba Symphony
            Festival  returned  this  year
            in  July  for  yet  another  ex-
            citing and decadent series
            of  classical  music,  per-
            formed  live  at  the  Cas  di
            Cultura  Theater  and  other
            venues.

            The  Aruba  Symphony  Fes-
            tival presents classical mu-
            sic  masters  that  are  world
            famous.  Guests  indulged
            in  classical  music  from
            around the world, enjoying
            the  sights  and  sounds  of
            this  unique  musical  event.

                                                                                                   The  strings  of  Andres  Rey  Peñaranda’s  violin  came  off  as  he
                                                                                                   began to play in the students’ competition. but he did not lose his
            Beethoven in Aruba performed by three Venezuelan artists: Edth Peña (piano), German Marcano   composure and restarted with a bow borrowed from a teacher.
