TigerConnect: what is it?

• Third-party text-messaging app
• Allows secure communication: used to send HIPAA compliant text
messages (PHI/PPI) - messages are encrypted
• Used by field staff: via app on iPhone and on Samsung tablet

• app on phone and tablet (provisioned by IT, installed during Orientation)
• Used by office staff: Desktop Application (access requested by departments,
installed by IT)

• Delivery Confirmation: Know instantly when messages have been sent, delivered, and read.
• Message Lifespan: VNSNY set it to 5 days.
• Message Recall: Recall a message and attachments before/after it has been read.
• Priority Messaging: You can send high priority messages that stay at the top of the recipient's
inbox and specify a unique alert for instant differentiation.
• Secure Attachments: Securely attach photos, voice notes, PDFs etc (remember: your primary
communication tool is HCHB).
• Group Messages: create Groups to improve collaboration and see who has read your
messages and when.
• Broadcast Messages: Send messages to your entire organization or sub-groups using
admin-configured distribution lists.
• Auto-Forward: Have messages automatically forwarded to another clinician/office staff when
in Do Not Disturb Mode.
• Click-to-Call: Make secure calls to contacts within the app via a message thread or user
profile. This feature also shields phone numbers for privacy (Displays name only).
