Dressing Change
To clean and dress insertion site:
• Clean the area with an alcohol pad, cleaning in a
circular motion starting from the insertion site and
working outward.
• Place the split foam catheter pad over the insertion site
and curl the tubing up over the pad.
• Curl the tubing.
• Cover foam pad and curled tubing with 4 x 4’s. Cover
the entire area with the clear occlusive dressing from
the kit. Make sure the edges of the occlusive dressing
are secure.
