assessment. Document as a surgical wound in PointCare
Integumentary(ICC)
• Wound status options:
o Newly epithelialized (when the driveline is dry/intact)
o Not healing (when the driveline is not dry and intact)

 PointCare Blood Pressure and Pulse check ***‘Do not enter
Systolic and Diastolic in BP fields’***

 Document Blood Pressure measurement in the Narrative Note:

‘Patient has LVAD BP obtained by Doppler eg. 85/palp.’
and no palpable pulse.’
