 Document in patient's record:
• Procedure and observations.

• Patient's response to procedure.
 Instruct patient/caregiver on healing of incision line
including:

• Reporting redness, discharge or other signs of
infection.

• Butterfly strips will fall off on their own.
• Protecting the incision line from direct sunlight for at
least 6 months
