Her father burst in through the front door, kicking the snow off his big boots as he called loudly, "Sophie, my little big girl, put on your thickest coat and come outside. There is a present waiting for you, and it’s so big it won't t through the door."
Sophie ran to her dad and grabbed her coat from the rack, and as she put her arm into her sleeve she caught sight of her present. An oddly shaped package of shiny red paper, with a big ribbon on it.
