One popular Jamaican folktale is
the story of the two lovers, Mizzie
and Jomo. Mizzie worked on the
Yardley Chase Plantation, which is
in the parish of St. Elizabeth. The
plantation owner was a man by
the name of Richard Chardley. He
was best known around town for
harvesting the finest quality coffee.
