            Guatemala’s Pre-Columbian era is



            divided in three different periods.



            The first one is the Pre-classic




            period, from 2000 BC to 250 AD.



            The second one is the Classic Period




            from 250 to 900 AD. The third one



            is the Postclassic period from 900




            to 1500 AD. In the beginning, the



            Pre-classic period was thought to
