The beautiful couple stood proud on the ship

deck overlooking the shore and then

disembarked on the land.

Seeing Malin from afar, the mother was very

happy to recognize that the owner of the

grand ship was his one and only son, Malin

Kundang.

She came close to the couple and upon

seeing the birth mark on Malin’s left arm, she

was more certain that the man was indeed

Malin Kundang.

The feeling of relief and happiness brought

her to tears and she ran to give a hug to her

son that she longed for.

“Malin Kundang, my beloved son, why did you

go for so long without sending me any news?”

She said while hugging Malin Kundang.
