Malin Kundang was shocked and caught off
guard, then immediately pushed his mother
away from him.
“What a shameless woman, claimed to be my
mother! My mother was a wealthy and
beautiful woman but she has been dead for
long.” Malin said to his mother.
Malin was in fact recognized his elderly
mother, but he was too ashamed to admit
because his mother looked very poor and was
dressed in ragged clothes.
“Is she your mother?” Malin Kundang’s wife
asked confusingly upon seeing the scene.
“No, she is just a beggar who claims to be my
mother because she wants all of our fortune.”
Malin Kundang answered with an arrogant
manner.
