are likely to gap back almost
as quickly. However, on Black
Black Thursday, October 24, Thursday it took everybody by
1929 – it was a prelude to the surprise. The stock market had
Great Depression. Until then shed 11% of its value by the time
stock markets were strong, the closing bell rang.
