The white light comprises all colors, but

the color blue is scattered more easily

when it hits the suspended particles.

Variations of blue or hazel eyes result

from different levels of melanin content

      acting in conjunction with Tyndall

      scattering.

Meanwhile, brown eyes are the result of

      high levels of eumelanin.

Melanin pigment in humans accounts for

the different skin tones and operates to

      protect skin against sunburns.

It also causes different shades of eye

      coloration. The complexity and splendor

of zoological coloration is supported by

melanin, as well as a multitude of other

      pigmentations.
