tune it. Jo put the idea to Bob that he

should learn an instrument, but at

the time, Bob was pretty happy just

singing. The Wailers played in local

bars and at parties for neighbors and

after a while, warmed up to the idea

of learning to play an instrument

and asked Jo to teach him to play

guitar. This was a turning point for

both The Wailers and Bob Marley,

as his newfound guitar skill was the

foundation for Bob to write some
