Bob and Rita had begun spending

time together, and it wasn’t long

before he introduced her to the

Wailers and they all became close

friends. The Wailers agreed that

Rita’s sound was valuable to the

band and they invited her to become

a vocalist alongside them. Bob and

Rita wrote a few songs together, and in 1966.
