given one year in prison in the old

fort of Landsberg. While imprisoned

Hitler began thinking of ideas and

strategies, and wrote them down

in book called Mein Kampf, which

means my struggle in German.

In prison he became plotting to

reorganize his party which had

been outlawed and lost a lot of its

influence and appeal. After he was

released he regrouped the party with

a couple of loyal followers who were

to remain the center of the Nazi

movement and state.
