Caribbean Sea and most of all, her

family and friends. She was pleased

to find out that the radio program

had made people more familiar with

her. Miss Lou still loved the idea

of being a teacher, so she got a job

teaching dramatic arts and folklore

at the University of the West Indies.

She was surprised and happy to

see students interested in Jamaican

culture, stories and drama; just

like she was when she was a young

student. Miss Lou was a teacher,

but she also made sure that she and
