 Miss Lou continued to encourage



 her students to learn about Jamaican




 culture and to use Patois, especially   perform monologues. These weren't



 when writing. While still teaching at   just regular monologues, though;




 the University, Miss Lou continued   they were all done in Patois! In



 to write and in 1965, she produced a   addition to the monologues, she




 radio show called Miss Lou's Views.  would recite poems she wrote, stories
