The Nile River’s full length is 6,695
km (4,160 m) and flows
approximately 1,545 km (960 m)
through Egypt where it enters from
the country of Sudan to the south
and empties into the Mediterranean
Sea in the north.
Scientists are still not sure of the
actual source of the Nile, but they
do know it begins somewhere in
the middle of Africa near the
countries of Rwanda and Tanzania.
