Civil Lawsuits Cases in Which a Civil Suit Was Filed
Generally speaking, organizations are more likely to pur-
sue criminal action against a fraudster than they are to file
a civil lawsuit. Civil suits were only filed in 23.5% of all No
cases, and those tended to be the most costly frauds, with 23.5%
