With special thanks to Betty and Ted Repa,

the 2020 Annual Fund Chairs

Ted and Betty Repa agreed to chair the 2020 Annual Fund well
before the COVID-19 pandemic began. It was an unprecedented
year, and with their talented support and good humor, the Annual
Fund exceeded its goal of $300,000. The Y is grateful for the Repas’
generous leadership and their unwavering belief that the Annual Fund
fuels the mission to support youth development, healthy living, and
social responsibility.

“2020 was a year of courage, adversity, loss,
and change. Through it all, the Y remained
committed to serving and protecting the
Boothbay Region in ways that mattered the most.
We were proud to serve as ambassadors for the Y

during an extraordinary year. We are especially grateful
to all of the donors who came together to express their
appreciation of the people, places, and programs that make
up the Y family through their generosity.”

In addition to the Ripas’ donating their time

as volunteers, the Y is grateful to over 50
other volunteers who logged over 1,500

volunteer hours between January 1 and March
17, prior to COVID-19 restrictions.
