The Weather data & analytics portal is a query based database management system
for the immediate access of historic weather data and a tool for verifying & analysing
forecasted weather.
The system act as a service gateway for commercial industries involved in renewable
energy sectors like wind, solar and hydro-power systems as well as agricultural
applications. The version 2.0 has model based climatology and observations based
climatology for the Indian locations as well as the rainfall climatology of the rain gauge
locations of Maharashtra agricultural University.
