2 Take a turn around the mooring point, in the same way you would for a
clove hitch.
3 Pass the working end diagonally over the standing part, and around
the mooring point.
4 Pass the working end over itself and tuck it under the original turn.
Tighten the knot. The addition of a drawloop at this stage turns it into a
slip knot.
