Campfire pot hanger
If you can’t find enough stakes to make a tripod
fear knot! The handy ‘pot hitch’ will make sure the
weary travellers (or garden campers) have a hot
meal in their billy can.
1 Find a suitable stake with a crook in the end to hang the pot from.
Centre the rope and attach it with a clove hitch in the bight.
2 Drive the stake into the ground at an angle, and attach either end of
the rope to a pair of well-spaced trees.
