Double angler’s loop

It might look like a coil gone wrong, but the

double angler’s loop is a very effective way of
creating a double loop. Like its close relation the

angler’s loop, it has a sharp grip and is liable to jam.
It is best used with small stuff, such as bungee cord

or fishing line.

1 Tie an overhand knot and put a bight in the end of the line.
