Three-legged race
Once used to hobble livestock, this knot can be
equally well used for tying children together for a
three-legged race. Some sort of protection around
the ankle is advised to prevent chafe from over-
enthusiastic running.
1 Take a round turn and tie a reef knot around the ankle of one
competitor.
