Carrier knot

This is a great knot if you need to carry or hang

any large, heavy object that hasn’t already got
handles. It can be used for carrying pots, hoisting

barrels or even as a simple plant hanger.

1 Tie a 10ft (3m) line into a loop using a double fisherman’s knot. Form a

pair of bights.
