Sewing knot 4: Weaver’s knot

Not strictly a sewer’s but a weaver’s technique,

this knot has many applications in sewing, knitting
and embroidery too – in fact, anywhere that threads

need to be joined with minimal loose ends.

1 Put a loop in one end, with the working end passing under the standing

part. Pass the other end up through the loop.
