Skipping rope
Why buy a skipping rope when you can make
yourself one that's made-to-measure? You’ll need to
choose some rope that has a bit of weight (but not
too much) and harness some of that nautical
knowhow (eg the plain whipping,).
1 Cut the rope long enough to run from one armpit down to your feet and
back up to the other armpit. Add 12in (30cm) for the handles. Cut two 5ft
(1.5m) lengths for the handle wraps. Put a 6in (15cm) long bight in one
end of the skipping rope and one of the handle wraps. Place them side by
side.
