This knot was invented by former fireman Mike

Karash as a rescue knot and forms part of his rescue
harness, though it can be used on its own too. It’s a

combination of a figure-eight on a bight and a
bowline on the bight.

1 Double the end of your line and tie a figure-eight on a bight.
