4 Twist the resulting bight into an overhand loop, and slip over the end
of the spar. Tighten the knot.
5 If the knot is not near either extremity, after Step 2, pass the working
end around the spar, in the opposite direction to the previous turns. Then
pass it over itself and tuck it under the last but one turn.
