Jared Schapiro
Jared Schapiro is a College and Community Navigator with
Workforce Snohomish.

Jared has a Master’s Degree in teaching secondary social
studies education. He has over a decade of experience
working with lower-income and marginalized populations
helping these communities gain access to education and
employment opportunities. Jared leads the Snohomish
County Asset Building Coalition, which strives to promote
the dissemination of knowledge, resources, and, ultimately,
access to financial education and empowerment tools in
Snohomish County.

Cathie Winegar

For 25 years, Cathie Winegar has been an advocate of and
passionate supporter of the community banking sector.
She currently serves as Community Relations Liaison and
Special Projects Director at Washington Trust Bank.
Washington Trust is the oldest and largest privately-held
community and commercial Bank in the Northwest. Cathie
enjoys her role as co-chair of Bank On Spokane and serves
as a gubernatorial appointee to the Financial Education
Public Private Partnership. She is married, with two
amazing boys in college and enjoys running, hiking,
kayaking, cooking and entertaining.
