2021 Bank On Washington Forum Speakers



                                 Andrea Alexander, Makah

                                 Andrea Alexander has over 30 years of Indigenous economic
                                 policy development. Andrea serves on the Community Economic
                                 Revitalization Board (CERB) appointed by Governor Inslee, the
                                 Native Reentry Program, and the Center for Inclusive
                                 Entrepreneurship. Executive Director experience includes
                                 Affiliated Tribes of Northwest Indians, Governor’s Office on
                                 Indian Affairs, and the Makah Nation. Andrea gained
                                 philanthropic experience through First Nations Development
                                 Institute, Director of Grants Social Justice Fund Northwest,
                                 Philanthropy Northwest Grantmakers of Color, and founder of
                                 the Potlatch Fund. Family and community are deeply rooted in

                                 her personal and professional life.


                                 Sean Creehan, Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco


                                 Sean is the Fintech team lead for financial health and inclusion at the
                                 Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. He heads efforts to embed
                                 financial health as a first principle in the Fed’s assessment of new
                                 technology. During the COVID-19 crisis, he led a team of
                                 economists, bank supervisors, and community development
                                 specialists that innovated policy supports for small businesses.


                                 Sean previously worked as an economist within the SF Fed’s
                                 Country Analysis Unit, where he researched innovative uses of
                                 policy and technology to build inclusive financials systems in Asia,
                                 and advised the SF Fed’s Management Committee. Before joining

                                 the Fed, Sean worked as a management consultant to companies
                                 operating and investing in Asia.

                                 He holds a master’s in international economics from Johns Hopkins
                                 and bachelor’s in social studies from Harvard College, and spent a
                                 postgraduate year at Peking University. He holds the designation of
                                 Chartered Financial Analyst and is a term member of the Council on
                                 Foreign Relations.
