Rekha Skantharaja, Tangram Insurance Services
As President & CEO of Tangram Insurance Services, Rekha has the privilege of building
an independently owned, privately held company on her terms. Tangram architects and
distributes specialty insurance programs in niche industries across the U.S. Her mission
is to help people realize the opportunity in this industry and empower them to create
their own successful career path and believes this is particularly important for women
and minorities. Rekha is a graduate of Boston University where she earned her degree in
International Relations. She is a member of the Young Presidents Organization and a Board
Director of a prominent Bay Area performing arts nonprofit.
Tracey Sharis, Liberty Mutual
Charged with the management and performance of Global Risk Solutions North
America’s (GRS NA) program & binder businesses, Tracey launched the GRS NA
Programs group in March 2021. In this role, Tracey and her team deploy GRS
NA’s specialty and admitted products through programs, binding agreements,
and alternative risk structures. She was a founding member of Ironshore’s
Women’s Executive Group employee resource group. Most recently, Tracey was
responsible for the restructuring and de-risking of Ironshore’s Program unit.
Prior to joining Ironshore, Tracey was a Senior Managing Director at Aon Benfield
where she led the creation of FAConnect, a predecessor to the Insurtech
marketplaces of today. She began her career at AIG’s Lexington Insurance
holding positions in product line management, as Chief Innovation Officer, and leading the economic capital
modeling of Lexington’s $4B US Property book. Tracey earned a BA in mathematics & economics from Colby
College. She has completed two fellowships at MIT’s Sloan School of Management and the Simmons University
Strategic Leadership Program. She serves as a board member for Women in Insurance in New England.
Jonathan Abbott, NFP
Jonathan has been providing actuarial and analytical services to the property and casualty
(P&C) insurance sector for almost 20 years. He is a Senior Vice President and leads
the P&C actuarial and analytics team at NFP. Jonathan has worked for various national
insurance companies and prior to joining NFP was the Chief Pricing Actuary for Arch
Insurance Company. He has extensive pricing experience in personal, commercial and
specialty lines of business including providing solutions for program businesses, large
accounts, complex structures and the development and implementation of predictive
models. Jonathan is a graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College with a bachelor’s degree
specializing in Applied Mathematics and Statistics and is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial
Society and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
