speckled pattern (AC-19)
Autoantibodies against PL-7 and PL-12 show a fine speckled
to homogenous cytoplasmic fl uorescence with HEp-2 cells.
The cell nuclei also show distinct clear dots in many cases.
According to recent findings, the enzymes PL-7 and PL-12 are
not solely localised in the cytoplasm, but are also found in the
cell nucleus in some species.
