Murray Mallee LLEN facilitated a range of industry
visits for local schools during 2019. These visits
provide a great opportunity for students to gain
insights into real life workplaces.
As always workplace hosts have been enthusiastic,
going out of their way to give students a thorough
overview of their operations. This year students have
visited the following: Swan Hill Water Treatment
Plant, Grizzly Engineering, Swan Hill Off Road,
Balranald Solar Farm, McDonalds, Swan Build, BB
Electrical and Devereux’s Joinery.
The visits also give students some extra
confidence when looking for a Structured
Workplace Learning placement.
