Dear Johnson Scholarship Foundation Grant Committee,
We would like to thank you for the support of the Martin Family Initiative (MFI) by the Johnson Scholarship Foundation (JSF). The contributions from JSF have enabled MFI to grow and, in turn, have strengthened the education and well-being of an increasingly large number of Indigenous children, youth, and adults in Canada.
MFI is especially appreciative of your most recent support of the Early Years program and the Indigenous Business Programs. While we hope to continue to grow both programs, there are some unexpected changes in circumstances in the Indigenous Business Programs, and we want to see them resolved prior to beginning any program expansion.
As such, we are requesting that JSF permit MFI to resubmit the funding proposal next year to ensure we can best utilize potential funding to make both significant and measurable impacts.
