Florida vs. Non-Florida Grants in 2021
In March, the Grant Program Committee asked how much of the Foundation’s grants go
to Florida as opposed to outside of Florida. The attached chart was generated out of our Foundant Technologies software. We included the UPS/Scholarship America grant in the 52% Florida numbers as that is for the benefit of the children of UPS employees in Florida.
September 2022 meetings
Non- Florida 48%
The September semi-annual Board meeting, committee meetings and visit to Weingarten Children’s Center will be September 11th through 13th. (See attached draft master schedule.) We have scheduled the optional site visit to Sonoma State University in northern California on September 13th. The attached reservations sheet will give us a better idea of how to plan. Please complete and return this information to Sharon.
Conflict of Interest Statement for 2022
If you have not already sent your completed Conflict of Interest Statement to the office, please do so. We are missing several. We will plan to publish the full listing for your information in the July Monthly Report.
December 2022 meetings
The December meetings will be the second weekend in December. The dinner will be Friday, December 9th. The Grant Program Committee meeting, Compensation Committee meeting, and convening dinner will be Saturday, December 10th. The Disadvantaged Convening will be Sunday, December 11th.
Foundation website
The Foundation website has been updated to group the discretionary grants into a separate category.
