TAKE STOCK/JOHNSON SCHOLARS YEAR-END REPORT (8) Johnson Scholars Program Budget
Two senior graduates attending the Senior Summit as they are oriented on student resources before starting their fall semester at Florida Atlantic University
Testing costs and college fees such as application and seat fees have continued to be paid for our students when requested. School coordinator stipends are paid in two semester payments and next year we grow from 12 coordinators to 13 with Royal Palm High School becoming our new club school beginning FY24. Mr. George, JSP Instructional Specialist, attended The Florida College Access Network in Tampa. Extra Duty Days during the summer were provided for Phara Lissade-Latour, JSP Resource Teacher. One AmeriCorps was procured from the Literacy Coalition and there are encumbered funds to cover the remaining cost. Graduating seniors all received their College Readiness Graduation Cords, an “I am a Scholar” sweatshirt, a backpack, and a planner. Supplies, meals, and incentives were also procured throughout the year’s programming. The funding for the Summer Internship will be transferred upon completion of the internship program.
