MUSIC TO LIFE

Pupils at Brookfields Special School have had a musical term as participants of
the Live Music Now (LMN) project.

LMN is a UK-wide initiative that delivers thousands of interactive music programmes,
providing young musicians with skills and employment at the start of their professional careers,
across all genres of music.

As part of the project, Brookfields’ pupils enjoyed a whole school concert led by a wonderful brass
ensemble and three full days of activities run in school by the Brass Group in December.

Principal Sara Ainsworth said: “The LMN project provides us with the opportunity to inspire and
devel-op our pupil’s musical talents and aspirations.”

LMN offer a variety of sessions, ranging from one-off concerts, creative music projects to residency
programmes, tailored to suit the needs of pupils. For more information about LMN programmes,
