A school is not solely about teaching and learning the school also provide extra curriculum
to learners and teachers, and this give them a peace of mind and time to refresh from
teaching and learning. Extra activities like soccer, netball and some other activities that the
school provides promote academic achievements and positive social behaviour, and reduce
conduct problems, substance abuse and emotional distress. The school in this matter needs
an ideal teacher that knows that the work of learning extends outside of the classroom, and
that learners deepen their understanding through peer sharing and engaging with other
peers socially.

CONCLUSION

This brochure has explained the context of Selelekela Secondary School including

where the school is located in Soweto and the address. It has also highlighted on
what ideal teacher is needed at the school. Furthermore, the pictures have been

used and explained in detail.
