Queen Ahneva Ahneva (QAA), internationally renowned fashion designer, who combines textiles and design
motifs of Africa with the style mode of the western world to create unique and beautiful, never before seen
fashions. Her fashions are for both men and women and include crowns, gowns, business attire, casual
fashions, formal wear, and accessories. Her designs have won many awards and are worn by the famous, and
the not so famous, around the world. QAA is perfecting a Gallery of “Wearable Art”.

She began her formal education at the famed Chicago Art Institute and continued at the Ford Unger School
of Design in Los Angeles. Extensive study with African Elders revealed to her that fashion is one of the oldest
art forms, and that a great many of the techniques employed in today’s worldwide fashion industry originated
in Africa. The history of African-born artistry such as weaving, beading, dying, batiking, and embroidery are
featured in her productions, beginning with ancient designs and continuing through to the contemporary world
of high fashion.

Starting her career in the fashion industry as a model on Chicago’s famous Gold Coast, she quickly achieved
top model status. Her fashion is now branded under the label of her name, Queen Ahneva Ahneva (QAA). Her
research on ancient and contemporary African artistry and its influence on today’s fashion industry, is well
documented in her “Fashion Heritage, the Cultural Connection”, a Broadway-like theatrical event scheduled to
arrive in Atlanta, GA August 1-5, 2020.
