BERNIE LAWRENCE-WATKINS

In 2002, Bernie Lawrence-Watkins founded the law firm of B. Lawrence Watkins & Associates, PC, specializing in
Entertainment, Intellectual Property, and Business Law. The firm concentrates in the areas of Music, Film and
Television, Copyright, Trademark, and Business Transactions. Throughout her career Ms. Lawrence-Watkins has
negotiated a multitude of entertainment agreements for Grammy Award winning songwriters and producers
of top charting recording artists such as Drake, Eminem, Lil Wayne, DJ Kaled, Beyoncé, Chris Brown, Future,
DaBaby, Usher, and Travis Scott. She has represented a wide range of clients such as “21 Savage”, “Young
Nudy”, “Tay Keith”, Jetsonmade, Miss Mulatto, Taylor Girlz, Roscoe Dash and “Jagged Edge”, to name a few.
Bernie Lawrence-Watkins made the decision to attend law school to pursue a career as an entertainment
lawyer after her brother signed a record deal that was not in his favor. Once she became a lawyer, Ms.
Lawrence-Watkins was determined to make a difference by getting the best possible deals for her clients. Over
the years Ms. Lawrence-Watkins has received many awards and recognitions for the work that she has done
in the entertainment community, some of which were life changing. Such deals have propelled her career to
obtain competitive clients against major law firms. Bernie Lawrence-Watkins attributes her success to being
able to manage her time effectively between work and family, not compromising her values and operating her
practice with integrity.
Bernie Lawrence-Watkins is a graduate of Howard University, School of Business and the University of Baltimore
School of Law.
CHONDRA WEBSTER MYERS
President & CEO, WEBMyers Construction
WEBMyer Construction, an interior general contracting company, is a certified, woman-owned, business
founded by Chondra Webster Myers. She runs a firm that takes a holistic approach to each project. Mrs. Myers
is the company’s president and founder. She brings nearly two decades of construction industry experience
to every job her company works. In three years, Mrs. Myers has led her company into becoming a multi-
million dollar producing firm that has attracted and maintained national clients such as Kaiser Permanente and
Walgreens.
Chondra Webster Myers credits Grady Healthcare Systems’ robust diversity and inclusion program for providing
her company with its first opportunity. Her team’s hard work, tenacity, and attention to details propelled it to
success. Since then, WEBMyers has established the reputation, received the certifications and the developed
experience that allow it to compete with nationally known and established construction companies in specific
health care arenas.
Mrs. Meyers is a California native with a degree in marketing who discovered her passion for construction after
moving to Atlanta, GA, in 1989. Her first endeavors here helped another woman-owned construction firm
land seven-figure business contracts with major corporate entities. After that, Mrs. Myers broadened her
experience by working for a nationally known minority construction company. Then, she established her own
firm.
