Romeo P. Stockett, PhD, MPA
Dr. Romeo Stockett, PhD is a native of Washington DC, now making Georgia his
home after 30 years of service in the United States Air Force, where he enjoyed a
very successful career, rising from the enlisted ranks to commissioned officer, and
progressing from obtaining his GED to his PhD. Dr. Stockett has established an
outstanding record of achievement and influence in the areas of education, health
research, community, and youth and young adult development over his many
years of active retirement.
Dr. Stockett is currently a Trustee for Grady Hospital serving as Chair of the Compli-

The Consortium for Global Informatics shares his knowledge and experience having served in leadership roles with the
CDC, State Health Division, County School Health Director, Rural Health Division of
Health and Human Services and owner of a home health hospice care practice.
Dedication to community has no limits for Dr. Stockett. He is a longtime member
and Immediate Past-President of the 100 Black Men, DeKalb Chapter. Programs
under his leadership were STEM, international studies, debate, tennis & fitness,
and establishment of a Collegiate 100 Chapter at Georgia State University, among
others.
Romeo and his wife, Rochelle, live in Stone Mountain, Georgia spending much of
their time enjoying their collective 8 children, 26 grandchildren, and his 6 great
grandchildren.
