Clyde Edward Mize, Jr., Esq





                                             Clyde E. Mize, Jr. is a Partner in the Real Estate Practice of Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP
                                             (MMM), an AmLaw 200 law firm with national and international reach. He represents cli-
                                             ents in all phases of real estate including acquisitions, developments, financing and sales.


                                             Reared by a single mother, Clyde benefitted exponentially from the mentorship of others,
                                             and has dedicated his life to positively impact others. He has channeled his efforts through
                                             organizations as varied as the Gate City Bar Association (“Gate City”), 100 Black Men of
                                             Atlanta, Inc., the State Bar of Georgia Diversity Program, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and
                                             the Greater Metropolitan Atlanta Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. (GMAC).

                 and Inclusion               In 2009, at MMM he helped to establish an internship program to expose diverse high
                 Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP  school students the practice of law. The program has attracted students from across
                                             metropolitan Atlanta and beyond. Former interns have matriculated at institutions such as
                                             Spellman College, Georgia Tech, The University of Chicago, and the U.S. Military Academy
                                             at West Point.


                                             Clyde is a past recipient of the President’s Award and the My Brother’s Keeper Award from
                                             the National Bar Association, and the Best Mentor Award from the Fulton County Daily
                                             Report. In 2019, Atlanta Magazine included Clyde on its inaugural list of Atlanta’s 500 Most
                                             Powerful Leaders.


                                             A member of Leadership Atlanta’s Class of 2020 and a volunteer in the Children’s Ministry
                                             at Elizabeth Baptist Church, Clyde earned his B.A. in Political Science and Speech Commu-
                                             nications from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and his Juris Doctorate from
                                             the University of Iowa College of Law. He and his wife are the parents of two children.
