Since the intersection of the two lines is within the 'Normal Category' area, the
aircraft's balance limitation is within the permissible range in this case.
If the intersection point was outside the area, we would have to make changes to
the load plan, e.g. less baggage or swapping passengers.
We have now ensured that the aircraft's weight and balance limitations are met
at takeoff. To ensure that the aircraft's weight and balance limitations are also
met at landing, we must make similar calculations with the amount of fuel we
expect to have left at landing.
As can be seen in the table of “Center of gravity movement envelope”, there is
also an area called the "utility category". If the center of gravity is within this area,
the aircraft must be loaded with higher G-forces.
