Aircraft general knowledge

It also allows you to prime the engine before starting by quickly pressing the

                throttle.
At slow speeds the acceleration pump does not work and that is how it should

                be!

We could wish for a little extra fuel for cooling at high output…

At engine outputs of 60 – 70% and above we wish, for cooling reasons, to supply

the engine with an extra rich petrol mixture.

                • A “full power valve”

                   solves this small
                   problem.

It is now a whole fountain

                of fuel.

                When flying at altitudes

with less air, the amount of fuel must also be regulated down. We must also be
able to stop the engine by shutting off the petrol.

                More must be fitted!

                • We fit a manual

                   mixture valve with

                   an operating

                   handle.

                   This controls the
                   petrol supply, and

                   when retracted it

                   completely shuts

                   off the fuel.
